Privacy policy
Terrain Current does not offer user accounts, accept payments or operate a newsletter. This policy describes the limited information involved when you visit the site, use a calculator or contact us.
Site delivery and security
The hosting and security provider may process routine technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp and security events to deliver and protect the site. Terrain Current does not use this information to build advertising profiles.
Planner and calculator data
Values entered into current planning tools are calculated in your browser. Terrain Current does not transmit those inputs to its own database or store them in browser storage.
Voluntary feedback and email
Feedback links open your email application. If you send a message, Terrain Current receives the information you choose to include, your email address and normal email metadata. Region or state and contact details are optional. Please do not send a precise home address, phone number, financial information, medical records or other sensitive personal information.
Messages are used to respond, check corrections and improve research. They are retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes, security or legal recordkeeping. You may request deletion by emailing the address below. Public quotation requires separate, explicit permission; submitting feedback alone does not provide that permission.
External and future affiliate links
Manufacturer, merchant and source links lead to third-party websites with their own privacy practices. Affiliate links are not currently active. If analytics, advertising or affiliate tracking is introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before activation.
Children
Terrain Current is written for a general adult audience and does not knowingly solicit personal information from children.
